Project Location: New senior community in Brownsburg, IN.
Project Background: The client needed to have handicap signs installed at the new community, so that they could get their Certificate of Occupancy. They contacted us to get a quote for the signs. After discussing the project with one of our Account Managers, the client decided to have us produce, deliver, and install all of the signs within the new senior community. The project would be split up into 3 phases; all to be completed before the end of 2015.
Scope of Work: Produce, deliver and install 2 handicap signs, 11 stop signs, 2 speed limit signs and 14 custom street signs.
Project Details: The client’s first priority was to get the handicap signs installed, so that they could get their Certificate of Occupancy. We supplied them with the handicap signs and they installed them on temporary wooden posts. Once all of the signs were produced and all locates were called in for Phase 1 of the project, we re-installed the handicap signs onto galvanized steel u-channel posts.

The client also installed temporary street signs while construction was being done on Phase 1. Once construction was complete, we installed the new custom street signs.

Per the Town of Brownsburg specifications, all public street signs are to have a “Brownsburg Purple” face with white font and the “Brownsburg Bulldog” logo. They also have to be installed on black powder coated round posts with acorn finials.

Project Duration: The project was split into 3 phases. So far, we’ve completed Phase 1 of the project, which included producing, delivering and installing 2 handicap signs, 4 stop signs, 1 speed limit sign, and 8 street signs. Phase 2 and 3 will be completed before the end of the year.
